Job summary

Clean Harbors in Guelph, ON is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our safety-conscious Field Services team. This role involves hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and work in confined spaces with hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class G license and have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel across Ontario as needed.
• Previous labour or hazardous waste removal experience is highly preferred.
• Industrial cleaning and chemical handling experience is an asset.
• Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving materials.
• Willingness to be trained for confined space entry and work at heights.
• Must be clean-shaven when required to ensure proper respirator fit and use.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by complying with all safe work practices and policies.
• Perform environmental remediation, hazardous waste management, and chemical/water spill cleanups.
• Conduct tank and vessel cleaning, including confined space entry and work at heights.
• Complete labor-intensive field service projects and emergency response activities.
• Safely use hand tools, pressure washers, and other powered industrial equipment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
