Job summary

Matrix Camps and Logistics is hiring a Haul Truck Driver for a remote mining site near Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. Work schedule is 3 weeks in / 3 weeks out with 12-hour shifts, seasonal and fly-in / fly-out arrangements.

The role involves safely operating haul trucks, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining equipment while complying with site procedures and safety policies. Candidates will support production targets in a remote, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a haul truck in mining, construction, and industrial environments.
• Transport materials to designated locations in accordance with site procedures and operational requirements.
• Follow all company safety policies, traffic control procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment operating guidelines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical concerns, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Maintain awareness of changing site, road, weather, and traffic conditions while operating equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, spotters, and other site personnel as required.
• Operate equipment in a safe and professional manner while supporting daily production and operational targets.
• Maintain assigned equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Follow environmental, operational, and site-specific procedures at all times.
• Report incidents, hazards, near misses, unsafe conditions, and equipment concerns immediately.
• Participate in required safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site training.
• Perform other related equipment operation and site support duties as assigned.

Matrix is seeking experienced and safety-focused Surface A30 Haul Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining haul truck equipment in support of mining, construction, and site operations.

The Haul Truck Driver will play an important role in supporting safe and efficient material movement while maintaining equipment, following site procedures, and working effectively in remote and industrial environments.
