Job summary

YWCA Toronto is seeking a Harm Reduction – Caseworker to lead programming supporting tenants and tenant-led initiatives within the Housing Support Program on Church Street.

The role emphasizes housing stabilization, eviction prevention, crisis counseling, and strengthening partnerships to deliver trauma-informed, inclusive services for women and gender-diverse residents. On-site work at 389 Church Street is expected.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equiv. in social work/health field.
• Experience in supportive housing and trauma-informed approaches.
• Knowledge of harm reduction and housing stability concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of harm reduction programming.
• Provide crisis prevention, intervention and counseling.
• Support tenancy retention through eviction prevention.
• Develop individualized support plans with tenants and partners.
• Deliver community development initiatives under housing program.
