Job summary

Home Depot Canada is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to manage multi-cluster Kubernetes environments in a Hybrid Halifax setting. You will deploy and optimize infrastructure, implement GitOps workflows, and maintain Helm charts and YAML configurations to ensure reliable cluster operations.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Kubernetes internals, Helm, kubectl, and cloud-native tooling, with a focus on scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Platform engineering and multi-cluster environments.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals, kubectl commands, image deployment, PVs/PVCs, and networking.
• Hands-on in writing/modifying Helm charts, overlays, and templates.

Responsibilities

• Support non-prod Infra, roll out Kubernetes clusters with CTB, optimize cluster performance.
• Automate cluster provisioning via GitOps and YAML/Helm configurations.
• Read/understand YAML files and Helm charts; carry out deployments in multi-cluster environments.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
