Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Sales Associate to provide fast, friendly service by actively assisting customers with their project needs. You will greet, engage, and thank customers, building knowledge of products and related services across departments.

Responsibilities include helping customers choose options, educating on whole projects, maintaining shelves, and promoting services such as Tool Rental and Pro Desk. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years Retail or Trade experience an asset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and thank customers in their department and assist across adjacent departments.
• Assess customers' needs by asking open-ended questions and guide them to right solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of department products and related services; keep stock signed, displayed and clean.
• Promote store services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services.
