Actalent seeks a Hardware Developer in Victoria, BC, to work on transducer products, including current and high voltage models. You will digitize analog waveforms, focus on the head unit SOC, and contribute to both mature and new product lines using Allegro for PCB layout and the Cadence tool suite.

The role involves a hybrid work setup with two days in the office, and a one-year contract with potential extensions.

Formación

• Experience selecting components for analog and mixed-signal circuits.

Job Title: Hardware Developer

Join a dynamic team as a Hardware Developer working on transducer products, including current and high voltage models. Your role will involve taking analog waveforms and digitizing them, with a focus on accuracy and timing. You will primarily work on the head unit of the system, which includes a system on chip, and contribute to both mature and new product lines using tools like Allegro for PCB layout and the Cadence tool suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and finalize existing transducer products.

• Experience with embedded systems is a plus.
• Understanding of three-phase power systems and voltage/current dynamics.

Work Environment

This role is part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary scrum team of 15, working two days in the office. You will be supported by experienced staff in a team-oriented environment that values sustainability and diversity. Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
