Hardscape Technical Advisor (Remote position)

Annual Salary : $80,000-$95,000 CAD + Bonus

Position Overview :

As a Hardscape Technical Advisor with Organic-Lock, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the effective use of Organic-Lock Stabilized Aggregate in landscape projects primarily in North America , but also around the world. Your expertise will ensure our clientele - ranging from seasoned Landscape Contractors to renowned Landscape Architects - receive the highest level of guidance and support. You will be integral to our mission of promoting sustainable landscape solutions on a global scale.

While the position is remote, it demands a proactive approach and a proven ability to flourish with minimal supervision. We hold weekly team meetings for many different teams that creates a very strong collaboration dynamic. Our momentum is strong, with an influx of fresh project inquiries every day along with a very strong CRM system that contains an abundance of ongoing opportunities.

TRAVEL- Although the candidate will be able to do much of the legwork from a home office, periodic travel to visit sites around North America and abroad will be included.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review architectural specifications and drawings to assess the suitability and limitations of our product in various projects.
• Using Artificial Intelligence to magnify productivity, the successful candidate will use AI regularly to implement constant improvements of efficiency.
• Provide technical assistance to the sales team, external partners, and clients regarding the proper installation and use of our pathway product.
• Be part of our Technical Webinar team, where you will learn to participate and run presentations as well as answering technical questions through Video Conferencing (Zoom).
• Work with landscape architects and contractors to address project-specific challenges and find solutions that meet design and performance goals.
• Conduct site visits to observe installations, provide on-site technical support, and ensure compliance with installation guidelines.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the research and development team to provide insights and feedback on product enhancements and potential new product development.
• Collaborate with existing and new licensed dealers to help them develop an effective product using our formulations.

TRAINING :

Envirobond will offer an extensive paid training package to quickly bring the candidate up to speed on all technical aspects of the product, as well as the overall market in general.

TRAVEL :

The candidate will be able to do much of the legwork from a home office, however periodic travel to visit sites around North America and abroad will be included.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with, and providing technical support to, landscape architects, contractors and licensed dealers for all ongoing projects as well as following up on projects that have technical support requirements. They will also be required to consult with existing licensed dealers to ensure proper blending and installation of the Organic-Lock product.

EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture, or a related field (or 5+ years in industry-related site / field experience). Certain Diploma's will be considered.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in the construction or landscaping industry.
• Strong understanding of architectural specifications and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• High Proficiency in AI
• Proficiency in CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technical software.

COMPENSATION :

• Annual Salary : $80,000-$95,000 CAD dependent on experience + Commission
• Commission : Hardscape Technical Advisor will be included in quarterly project commission
• Expenses : All travel expenses will be provided by Envirobond.
• Probation Period : The successful candidate’s employment will be subject to a 3-month probationary period to allow Envirobond to assess your suitability for continued employment.
