Job summary

Inpho seeks a hands-on Lab Technologist (Semiconductor & Photonics) to support the day-to-day operations of our photonics laboratory. You will manage equipment readiness, inventory, material flow, documentation control, and lab organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Lab Manager and engineering teams to ensure a safe, organized, efficient, and well-maintained laboratory environment. CAD experience and data analysis are a plus in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Photonics, Semiconductor Technology, Physics, or related technical field.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in optical/photonics lab environment.
• Experience handling fragile semiconductors and photonic devices.

Responsibilities

• Support Lab Manager in daily operation of photonics lab.
• Coordinate equipment calibration schedules and maintenance records.
• Assist with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and lab readiness.
• Assist in inventory transactions, material traceability, and supplier communication.
• Maintain lab documentation systems and SOPs.
• Support safety, ESD compliance, cleanroom procedures, and audit readiness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across lab operations and manufacturing support.
• Assist engineers with testing, qualification, and data collection.
