Job summary

• Proven hands-on leader with experience developing production teams.
• Experience applying manufacturing principles to optimize workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop production employees while promoting teamwork, accountability, and performance.
• Coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
• Apply manufacturing engineering principles to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Monitor production performance, KPIs, throughput, and operational effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Ensure products meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Shipping to resolve issues and improve plant performance.
• Manage labour allocation and resource planning to maximize productivity.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate production reports, KPIs, and operational documentation.
• Promote and enforce health and safety policies while maintaining a clean, organized workplace.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with employee onboarding, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary matters as required.
