We are seeking a talented and passionate hairdresser to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and will be skilled in various hair styling techniques. As a hairdresser, you will have the opportunity to create beautiful hairstyles while building lasting relationships with guests in a welcoming and professional environment.

Duties

• Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, color, highlights, and treatments tailored to individual guest needs. (NO curly perms due to allergy)
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of studio, workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for both guests and other associates.
• Communicate effectively with guests to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on styles and products.
• Assist with scheduling appointments, managing guest records, and handling payments.
• Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance the guest experience and contribute to salon revenue.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide guests with contemporary options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a hairdresser.
• Minimum of one year hands-on, in-salon experience and a passion for building a clientele.
• Must have a valid Ontario hairdressing/cosmetologist license.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Proficient in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, highlighting, and treatments. (NO curly perms due to allergy)
• Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean work environment consistently.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Experience with upselling services and retail sales is a plus.
