Job summary

Kibbi in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an experienced hairstylist to join our busy salon. You will cut, color, and style hair according to client preferences, provide scalp massages, and maintain an inviting, professional atmosphere.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise junior staff and apprentices while delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education required.
• 5+ years of hairstyling experience (as per job listing).
• English required; French ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Book appointments.
• Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences.
• Shampoo customers' hair.
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches.
• Provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening and tinting and scalp conditioning massages.
• Supervise other hair stylists and staff.
• Supervise apprentices/students in training.
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
• Apply hair extensions.
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client's features and preferences.
• Maintain and order supplies.
