Job description

The Greater Victoria School District #61 is seeking to hire a 0.571 FTE (TEMP) Hair Certification Program 12 teacher at Victoria High School, effective from September 1st, 2025 to June 30th, 2026.

The District provides public education to over 20,000 students across six municipalities, with a current budget of $260 million and approximately 3,500 staff members, including teachers, administrators, support staff, psychologists, speech and language pathologists, and managers.

Job Description and Requirements:

• BC Teacher Certification - Secondary
• ITA Hair Stylist Trainer Certification or in progress
• Teaching ITA Hair Stylist 12 Program (2 blocks in PM during Semesters 1 & 2)
• Must be certified to issue ITA Red Seal Certification

This position is covered under the GVTA Collective Agreement, with a salary range of $61,901 to $109,812 annually.
