Job summary

DCC Hail Canada in Calgary is seeking a Hail Estimator to assess vehicle hail damage and provide accurate cost estimates. You will work closely with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards.

This role requires 2+ years in bodyshop or hail repair, experience with Mitchell and Audatex/Qapter, and strong communication. Travel across Canada is expected.

Qualifications

• Bodyshop and/or hail repair experience (min. 2 years).
• Estimation experience using Mitchell and Audatex/Qapter.
• Knowledge of insurance procedures.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Ability to travel across Canada as required by business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• French language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle for damage, create a repair plan and estimate of cost.
• Share repair plan with technician and manage the repairs to be completed.
• Manage professional relationships with suppliers, clients, and dealerships.
• Estimate hail damage to vehicle and review repair plan.
• Manage claims and write estimates in Mitchell and Qapter.
• Travel to various clients as required.
• Oversee the quality of repair and ensure standards are met.
