Required Skills

• 10+ years of proven experience in Guidewire Application Development.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter (BC) Configuration.
• Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) Configuration is a plus.
• Proficiency in GOSU language, Guidewire configuration and coding, Guidewire Batch, and predefined plugins.
• Ability to read and reverse engineer code written in other programming languages.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Guidewire Cloud Certification is required.
• 7+ years of experience in:
• Developing RESTful APIs.
• Programming in multiple languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python).
• Working with relational databases and SQL, preferably MS SQL Server and Transact-SQL.
• Expertise in designing and developing end-to-end business database applications.
• Experience in building modern web applications and designing REST/JSON-based Web APIs.
• Deep understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements efficiently.
• Create architectural diagrams and design documents.
• Design user interfaces, business rules, and workflow modifications.
• Develop, configure, package, and deploy software applications.
• Establish and adhere to coding standards.
• Debug and perform unit testing on code.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Preferred Background

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent experience may also be considered.

The pay range for this role is CAD 120,000 per annum - CAD 140,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law).
