This position is for a Guidewire Application Developer with extensive experience in Guidewire BC Configuration and related technologies. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying software solutions within the property and casualty insurance domain.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements efficiently.
• Design screens, business rules, and workflow changes.
• Write programs, configure, package, and deploy software.
• Establish and follow coding standards.
• Debug and perform unit testing of code.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of proven experience in Guidewire Application Development.
• Experience with Guidewire BC Configuration.
• Knowledge of Guidewire PC Configuration is a plus.
• Expertise in GOSU language, Guidewire tools, Batch, and plugins.
• Ability to read and reverse engineer code in other languages.
• Experience with Agile development, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.
• Domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Guidewire Cloud Certification is required.
• 7+ years of Guidewire development and coding RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, Python.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, especially MS SQL Server.
• Experience designing web applications and Web APIs with REST/JSON.
• Strong understanding of customer-centric development and design thinking.
