Job summary

Purposeful Golf invites a Guest Services Shuttle Driver to join our Manitou Ridge operation. You will ensure safe, on-time transportation for guests between the resort and accommodations, while representing our premium standards.

In addition to driving, you will help with golf-related guest assistance, assist with cart fleet duties, and maintain the presentation of our facilities. A positive, professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• Aged 25+ with a valid Class 'G' license and clean 3-year driving record.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Friendly, engaging and professional demeanor with respect for guest privacy.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles following Ontario traffic laws and internal safety policies; complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and record mileage.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of shuttle vehicles (interior and exterior).
• Assist guests with loading/unloading luggage, golf bags or personal items as needed; provide warm, professional transportation.
• Actively assist Golf Services team during shuttle downtime.

About the role:

As a Guest Services Shuttle Driver with Purposeful Golf, you will play a vital role in the guest experience by delivering safe, seamless, and punctual transportation between Manitou Ridge and our guest accommodations. Beyond shuttle driving, you will assist the broader Golf Operations team during shuttle downtime by assisting guests who are starting or finishing their rounds, supporting daily cart fleet management and maintaining the overall presentation of our golf facilities.

What you’ll do:

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles in accordance with Ontario traffic laws and internal safety policies. Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accurately record vehicle mileage, and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of both shuttle vehicles, including interior and exterior standards (what does this mean).
• Provide warm, professional transportation, ensuring guests arrive safely and on time. Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, golf bags, or personal items as needed
• Actively assist the Golf Services team and Golf Professional staff while on duty during shuttle service downtime (insert responsibilities).

What you bring:

• Aged 25+ (for insurance compliance) with a valid Class 'G' license, clean 3-year driver's abstract, and clear criminal background check.
• Friendly, engaging, and professional, balancing clear communication with respect for guest privacy.
• Strong attention to detail with strict adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Good motor skills and vision (corrected vision with glasses or contacts is welcomed) required to operate vehicles safely during day and night conditions.

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to work a part-time/casual role with varied hours, primarily evenings and weekends.
• Ability to comfortably sit for extended driving periods, as well as stand and walk for extended periods when assisting guests and supporting golf operations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, twisting, reaching and lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs (e.g., loading golf bags or luggage).
• Ability to work in varied weather and lighting conditions, including day, night, rain, and heat.

Compensation:

$20 plus the opportunity to earn a gratuity.
