Job summary

Germain Hotels in Ottawa is seeking a friendly Valet/Bellman to warmly welcome guests on arrival and assist with parking, luggage, and related tasks. You will inform guests about parking procedures and local directions, and ensure a clean, welcoming lobby.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong customer service orientation, a valid driver’s license with manual capability, and good physical fitness. Unionized hourly position with hotel benefits and access to employee rates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Natural customer service orientation is a must.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive in manual mode.
• Good physical condition: stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage entry and exit in front of the hotel with a smile.
• Greet guests and inform them about parking procedures and directions.
• Assist with luggage on request and describe room features.
• Deliver mail and parcels as needed.
• Keep the lobby clean and tidy at all times.
