Job summary

Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver is seeking a guest-focused dining attendant to provide professional, friendly service and support Food & Beverage servers in all dining aspects. You will assist guests with menu items and ensure proper setup of stations, while maintaining knowledge of beverages and promotions.

The role values strong communication, teamwork, and Serving It Right certification, with availability for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality service is preferred.
• POS system experience is an asset.
• Possession of the Serving It Right certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist Food & Beverage servers in all aspects of the dining experience.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Ensure proper setup of all side stations in the outlet.
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays.
