Four Points & Element Toronto Airport in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Guest Service Agent for a part-time role. You will welcome guests, check in, provide information, and support hotel operations across two brands.

You should have exceptional customer service, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. PMS and MS Office familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest services preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services.
• Upsell rooms to maximize hotel revenue.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately and securely.
• Issue, control and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
• Coordinate guest requests and communicate with management as needed.
• Make service recovery gestures to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage reservations and handle changes or cancellations.

What You Bring to Our Team:

• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications is an asset
• Previous hospitality experience preferred; a diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is an asset

In This Role, You Will:

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location; prepares for group check in and out and VIP arrivals; becomes informed of events/ functions in the hotel during the shift. Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
• Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/securing assigned bank.
• Issue, control and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
• Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests; promotes hotel services, facilities and outlets; provides guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase satisfaction. Make appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
