Job summary

InterContinental Toronto Centre is hiring a Part-Time Valet Attendant in downtown Toronto. You will greet guests, park cars, assist with luggage, and provide information about hotel facilities to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, one year of driving experience, an alcohol awareness certification, and a valid driver's license with a clean abstract. Night/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Alcohol awareness certification is required.
Must speak fluent English and be able to communicate with guests effectively.

Responsibilities

Greet arriving guests and assist with parking in designated areas.
Record vehicle information on valet tickets and in the logbook.
Explain and promote hotel facilities to increase guest satisfaction and hotel revenue.
Provide luggage assistance to guests as needed.
Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints and follow up for satisfaction.
Offer non-valet parking directions and guidance to guests on arrival.
Handle parking fees cash/credit following policies.
Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
