Job summary

Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts is seeking a Server Assistant to support a refined dining experience within our mountain resort. You will work closely with servers to ensure guests receive prompt, courteous service in a welcoming setting.

You will prepare tables with appropriate settings, assist in delivering beverages, clear and reset tables, and help maintain spotless service areas for the next seating. Collaboration with the restaurant team is essential to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in providing prompt, attentive service to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Prepare tables with appropriate tableware, linens, and settings before guests arrive, ensuring they are impeccably arranged and clean.
• Assist in preparing and serving beverages, such as water, coffee, and specialty drinks, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and presentation.
• Aid in food delivery, ensuring proper timing and coordination with the kitchen staff, and handle guest requests for condiments or additional items promptly.
• Clear tables efficiently and discreetly, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Reset tables promptly for the next seating.
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as water, bread, butter, and other essentials to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Maintain open and effective communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management to relay guest requests, special instructions, or any other relevant information promptly and accurately.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests with a sense of urgency and attentiveness, providing exceptional service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including polishing glassware, silverware, and other equipment. Assist in general cleaning duties as required.
• Collaborate with the entire restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and a harmonious work environment, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
