Position Overview

The Guest Experience Representative supports all logistics related to the transportation of guests between key meeting points and CMH staging areas. This role requires a keen eye for operational details, and an ability to problem-solve and adapt to unforeseen circumstances. This role is positioned in multiple locations to support the guest transportation programs in Calgary, Kelowna, and Revelstoke.. The Personal Driver is a seasonal position. The CMH winter season runs from late November to end of April. This position calls for schedule flexibility throughout the operating season.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all exchanges and transfers to and from CMH staging areas and key meeting points.
  • Perform administrative tasks pertaining to guest transfers and exchange day operations.
  • Monitor and process guest and lodge communications related to transportation.
  • Coordinate the on-coach food and beverage program.
  • Act as a point-person for seasonal Coach Host staff accompanying guests on the coach.
  • Follow-up on guest inquiries with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Problem-solve logistical changes and impacts from road closures and delays.
  • Create exceptional guest moments as the first and last point of contact for the CMH experience.
  • All employees will support the implementation of CMH health and safety and sustainability initiatives and participate in training and provide assistance as required during emergency response situations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education related to transportation and logistics, preferred.
  • Practical, hands-on experience with logistics coordination.
  • Experience with data entry, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with high-end customer service.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn other relevant software platforms are important, as is the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating seasonal workloads and changing priorities. The role requires a trustworthy, goal-oriented, respectful, and self-directed individual who can navigate complex responsibilities. Additionally, the candidate must have the confidence to interact with all levels of the company, including those in remote locations within a hub-and-spoke model.

Working Conditions

Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis. This position is required, at times, to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business. This position may require occasional travel to CMH areas, as well as some travel to industry functions on an occasional basis.

Compensation

A competitive hourly rate including vacation pay will be provided based upon qualifications, experience, and skill set. Further details will be discussed in a personal interview.
