Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of restaurant service experience considered an asset.
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Professional appearance and manners, strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests and relay to kitchen staff or bartenders.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials; serve accordingly.
• Set and reset tables, clear dishes, and ensure cleanliness.
• Process payments and present checks to guests in accordance with policy.
• Provide welcoming, courteous guest service and handle complaints as needed.
