Job summary

Ontario Northland is seeking a Spare Housekeeper/Front Desk at Cochrane to ensure top-tier guest experiences. You will clean rooms, support front desk coverage, and respond to guest needs with courtesy and efficiency.

The role requires a GED or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to work shifts and weekends. Prior housekeeping or front desk experience is an asset; bilingual abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or GED (required).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience is an asset.
• Ability to work shifts and weekends.
• Familiarity with computer software is an asset.
• Bilingualism in English and French; Cree would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist front desk with coverage and guest requests.
• Register arriving guests and assign rooms.
• Provide information on hotel services and local community resources.
• Handle guest check-out procedures and payments.
