Job summary

Aspira Lincoln Park in Canada is seeking a casual Guest Attendant to join our team. You will build meaningful relationships with residents, support daily living activities, and contribute to a caring home environment where dignity and comfort are prioritized.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with a team across 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am shifts, on a casual basis. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 minimum education required.
  • Safe Serve designation and one year experience in dining room service.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit.
  • Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to residents and form relationships.
  • Assist with activities of daily living including eating, dressing, hygiene and grooming.
  • Transport residents to and from rooms and activities.
  • Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support; oral and dental care.
  • Complete laundry and housekeeping duties.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be a welcomed team member, working in a fast‑paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Guest Attendant, you’ll form a deep understanding of your residents and their living experience. You will build relationships with the residents and their family members, offering a variety of support options and program choices that enrich their daily health and well‑being. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

  • Answering all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous service
  • Ensures that residents own personal grooming is appropriate and uniform/dress is clean, tidy and according to dress code
  • Assist with transporting residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office and dining room as required
  • Provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support; as well as oral and dental care
  • Completing laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments
What you need to know:
  • Grade 12 minimum education required
  • You have ‘Safe Serve’ designation and one year experience in dining room service
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
  • You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position
