Staples Canada is seeking a Category Sales Specialist to grow Mid-Market lines beyond traditional office supplies. You will generate new leads, collaborate with the Mid Market Sales team, and bring high-level subject matter expertise to drive growth.

The role requires a proactive, self-starting professional with 3–5 years in new business development, strong negotiation skills, and bilingual French ability. Occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of successful new business development including cold calling and discovery meetings.
• College diploma or university degree or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual French required.
• Valid Class 5 Driver Licence with car.
• Residence in or near Montreal East area preferred.

Aufgaben

• Pursue and grow lines of business in Mid-Market beyond traditional office supplies.
• Lead generation for assigned Growth Categories and coordinate with Mid Market Sales.
• Negotiate and present Category solutions to win new business.
• Pursue new non-category opportunities for all brands in territory.
• Lead implementation of new business, including logistics and post-sale support.
• Develop and execute adoption plans and address client challenges.
• Maintain Salesforce.com and other CRM tools with milestones and issues.
