The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Group Sales Representative to support our WestJet Vacations brand in Toronto, ON. You will generate customer loyalty through excellent service, product knowledge, and account management, handling group bookings from start to finish to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Director, Group Sales, this role offers a dynamic and passionate work environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and attract new clients.
  • Offer product recommendations, prepare quotes, and follow up.
  • Upsell and cross-sell using promotional materials.
  • Conduct weekly sales calls and respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Monitor pricing and escalate discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Send personalized marketing communications and track bookings.
  • Create and manage group bookings in internal systems.
  • Verify rates, issue contracts/invoices, and handle modifications.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for inventory and service needs.
  • Finalize rooming lists, reconcile concessions, and issue travel documents.
  • Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products.
  • Attend training and complete required courses.
  • Maintain organized reference materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Excellent administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • TICO Certification is mandatory.
  • Experience with TTS and Sabre is an asset.
  • Highly organized, capable of multitasking, and able to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
