Job summary

Wave is seeking a strategic and highly technical Group Product Manager, Core Services, to define and scale the shared services layer that powers product innovation. You’ll own the strategy, orchestration, APIs, and workflows used by internal product teams to build, launch and scale experiences efficiently and at scale.

You’ll lead a team of Product Managers, partner with Engineering, Data, and Design, and drive adoption of platform capabilities while balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term

Qualifications

• Experience owning platform, infrastructure, API, developer tooling used by internal teams or developers.
• Strong fluency in distributed systems and data foundations with cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to define strategy, requirements, and trade‑offs across multiple teams.
• Track record translating platform investments into measurable outcomes (scale, reliability, cost).
• Leadership experience of Product Managers and high‑performing teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, CS, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of product management with 2+ years leading teams at group level or above.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, OKRs, and metrics for Core Services.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and Data to guide direction and trade‑offs.
• Own the Core Services orchestration layer for internal customers and reusable capabilities.
• Drive adoption, onboarding, documentation, and change management for platform services.
• Define platform health metrics, adoption, reliability, performance, and ROI.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team of Product Managers with discovery to execution.
• Align with stakeholders to evolve Core Services with the company’s vision.
• Identify AI capabilities to improve velocity and deliver measurable impact.
• Foster continuous improvement through retrospectives and refined platform processes.
