What it’s like to be a Northbridge Group Insurance Case Coordinator

This role is a key member of the Group Insurance MGA team, Vertis Insurance. It contributes to the growth of the Group Insurance business by providing centralized sales support to the MGA team, increasing production, and promoting carrier parent products through proactive and reactive sales objectives. The insurance coordinator works closely with Group Insurance Specialists, responding to requests, providing administrative support to advisors on sales cases, connecting advisors to carrier resources and tools, and assisting with educational initiatives to enhance advisors' success.

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key advisors and brokers by providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Supporting the review of requests for proposals (Group) prior to submission to carrier partners
  • Providing illustration requests (group insurance) using insurance carrier software
  • Maintaining service levels to advisors, focusing on building rapport and long-term relationships through high-level support
  • Handling day-to-day servicing and inquiries with quick response times

If you have:

  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • Life and A&S license
  • Experience in group insurance
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in the insurance industry and knowledge of insurance products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
