Job summary

Edon Management is seeking a reliable Snow Removal & Landscape Maintenance Worker in Calgary, Alberta. This permanent, 40 hours/week role covers year-round outdoor work, snow clearing in winter, and landscape upkeep in warmer months.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping or maintenance experience considered an asset.
• Good command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Strong customer care and communication skills.
• Ability to operate small power equipment used in landscape maintenance.
• Clean driving record/abstract required.
• Must be 25 years of age or older, in accordance with Edon’s commercial vehicle insurance requirements.
• Ability to work permanent hours, including early mornings, nights, weekdays, or holidays depending on weather and workload.]

Responsibilities

• Perform snow removal and landscaping duties such as shoveling, blowing, sweeping, mowing, trimming, and general grounds upkeep.
• Inspect building grounds regularly to make sure everything looks professional and meets contract and company standards.
• Plant, water, and maintain grass, trees, shrubs, and other greenery to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive.
• Help install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems and other outdoor equipment.
• Watch for and report any safety hazards or damage that needs attention.
• Respond promptly to work requests or emergencies, especially during snow or storm events.
• Represent Edon positively when interacting with clients, tenants, and subcontractors.
• Work safely, show initiative, and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
