Position Overview

As a Groundsperson, you will support operations by assisting with site setup, supporting climbers and trimmers, and gaining industry experience. This role offers career growth, training, and development opportunities in the tree industry.

Job Duties

• Support groundwork for trimming operations.
• Operate chainsaw and chipper; load brush.
• Assist with job-site setup, debris removal, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform site cleanup tasks such as raking and leaf blowing.
• Rig down limbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle; air brake endorsement is an asset.
• Willing to become a certified arborist.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Experience in landscape/horticulture is an asset.
• Ability to work safely, learn, and progress as part of a team.
