Job summary

Executive Aviation in Hamilton (YHM) seeks a Ground Operations Trainer to lead our training program for the Below the Wing team. You will train staff on air carrier and Executive Aviation procedures at the YHM base, facilitating in-class, online, and on-the-job sessions while supporting ramp operations as a Ramp Coordinator.

The role is full-time with shifts on the ramp for coverage. You will report to the Station Manager and help the team grow professionally while ensuring safe, compliant

Qualifications

• Experience in training programs and facilitating in-class, online, and on-the-job sessions.
• Ability to lead by example creating a positive learning and working environment.
• Must hold RAIC and AVOP, plus a valid driver's license and clean driver abstract.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the local training program.
• Maintain documentation and records including trainer matrices.
• Schedule and facilitate course material for initial and recurrent requirements.
• Represent Executive Aviation in carrier train-the-trainer programs.
• Provide hands-on job shadowing instruction and coaching on best practices.
• Provide equipment demonstrations and instruction.
• Promote safe work practices.

Executive Aviation is looking for a Ground Operations Trainer to lead the training program for our Hamilton Below the Wing team. Specifically, we are looking for someone to train employees on air carrier and Executive Aviation procedures at our YHM base. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a strong knowledge of best practices and the ability to facilitate in class, on-line, and on the job classes, and will also help support the operation as a Ramp Coordinator. This will be a full-time leadership role although shifts on the ramp for coverage will be required. The Trainer position will report to the Station Manager.
