Job summary

Nature's Fare Markets is seeking a Grocery Team Member to help customers choose healthy local, organic, and sustainable options while keeping shelves stocked and displays creative and inviting.

You will learn product details, assist with questions, and contribute to a friendly, health-focused store environment. Regular availability for day and weekend shifts is required, with roughly 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in grocery and/or retail environment is preferred but not needed.
• Experience in a customer service role is needed.
• A passion for local, organic and sustainable food and natural supplements.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to people’s health and wellbeing.
• Ability to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment.
• Like to have fun!

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the department and build connections.
• Assist customers with questions about products and make recommendations.
• Stock shelves throughout the day so they are easily accessible.
• Use creativity to make attractive, organized displays.
• Learn about new and sale products via Nature’s Fare flyers and magazines.
• Be a safe, great team player and have fun!

GROCERY TEAM MEMBER

As part of one of our largest and most diverse departments, our Grocery Team Members are passionate about local, organic and sustainable food. You like helping others choose products that work best for their health and lifestyle, and you are eager to learn and try new products so you are confident in the information you are sharing! This role also keeps our shelves stocked and looking amazing through building creative displays.

Regular Store Hours:

Mon – Sat 8:00am – 8:00pm
Sun 9:00am – 7:00pm

*** Must have daytime and weekend availability and the flexibility to work when required - will be scheduled approximately 24 hours per week ***

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Give a warm “hello!” to our customers as they enter the department – we like building connections with our new and regular customers and sharing a laugh along the way.


• Assist customers with questions they may have about products we and give suggestions based on their needs (don’t worry, we will train you on this!)


• Work with your team to stock shelves throughout the day so it is easily accessible for customers when they need it.


• Use your creativity and eye for detail to make attractive and organized displays.


• Learn about new products and featured products that are on sale through Nature’s Fare’s flyers and magazines.


• In other words, you will help others, share your knowledge on our amazing products, be safe, be a great team player and have fun!
