Job summary

Farm Boy Inc. in Pickering, Ontario, is seeking a hands-on Floor Supervisor to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will supervise a team, coordinate tasks, stock and rotate displays, coach staff, and ensure readiness for the busy shopping day. This role requires flexible hours, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and fluency in English (French an asset).

Qualifications

• Partial post-secondary education plus at least 1 year of progressively responsible experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work independently with high-quality results, attention to detail, and cleanliness standards.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with an interest in team engagement, coaching, and training.
• Collaborative leadership style with clear and effective communication.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting with multiple deadlines, standing for long periods, heavy lifting, and work in cooler, freezer, or outdoor conditions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.

• Foster a culture of trust and inclusion by providing hands-on training and coaching focused on floor operations and service excellence.
• Promote company policies and clearly communicate department updates and business objectives from store leadership.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.

• Promote company policies and clearly communicate department updates and business objectives as shared by the store leadership team.


• Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.
