Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking a Grocery/Bakery Clerk for early morning shifts to stock and merchandise grocery and bakery products and help with packaging and labeling. Availability to start at 4:00 a.m. and reliable transportation are required.

You will provide friendly customer service, ensure shelves are clean and well-displayed, and follow all safety and store policies. This role supports both departments and offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Stock grocery shelves, rotate products, and maintain organized displays.
• Receive and put away stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures.
• Package, label, and stock bakery products.
• Check product dates and freshness, and process department shrink as required.
• Keep shelves, work areas, and back rooms clean, organized, and presentable.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service.
• Follow all food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
• Support both departments and perform other duties as required.

We are looking for a reliable employee to support our Grocery and Bakery departments.

In this role, you will stock and merchandise grocery products and help package, label, and stock bakery items. You will complete your work accurately and efficiently, provide exceptional customer service, and help keep our shelves and displays ready for customers.
