Job summary

Position Summary

The Greeter (G) greets, directs, and assists electors at a voting location.

Major Job Responsibilities
  • Assists with opening and closing the voting place
  • Greets electors at the voting location and request they have proper identification ready
  • Assists electors at the voting location and provide them with instructions and directions
  • Ensures the voting location is free of any candidate or third party advertiser campaign materials
  • Notifies the Deputy Returning Officer (DRO) of any services that are disrupted, incidents that occur or complaints that are made at the voting location in a timely manner
  • Assists electors with disabilities, if requested
  • Manages a large flow of electors within a voting location
  • Directs any elector issues to the Deputy Returning Officer (DRO), as they arise
  • Assists with other various duties as requested by the Deputy Returning Officer (DRO)
Education & Experience
