Job summary

The Town of Milton is seeking Tabulator Clerks to operate the vote tabulator and print results tapes using Town Clerk software. You will assist at polling locations, handle voter flow, and support election operations on Election Night.

Applicants should be at least 18, able to lift up to 60 lbs, and available for long hours. Previous election experience is considered an asset and training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Open/close voting location.
• Troubleshoot tabulator issues using specified software.
• Notify Deputy Returning Officer of disruptions promptly.
• Assist electors, including those with disabilities.
• Generate tabulation results on Election Night.
• Read data on touch screen software efficiently.
• Manage large flow of electors in the location.
• Perform tasks manually if required.
• Ensure scrutineers follow guidelines in the voting location.
• Direct elector issues to the Deputy Returning Officer as needed.
• Support other election-related duties as requested.
