Job summary

Pure Flavor is seeking a Greenhouse Labour Supervisor to support the Grower and Assistant Grower in monitoring and guiding the greenhouse labour team’s performance. You will train, motivate and coordinate all labour activities to ensure safety, efficiency and effective communication.

You will also manage data entry accuracy, monitor shift-based data real-time, and ensure adherence to GMPs, HACCP, and health and safety guidelines, while collaborating with the Grower and General Manager on issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a commercial greenhouse environment.
• Experience with PRIVA FS Performance Labour & Crop Management platform is preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish, required.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; numeracy skills, required.
• Proven ability to detect plant diseases and the existence of insects.
• Knowledge of GMP, Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP and PrimusGFS.
• Computer Skills required; Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must be flexible to shift assignments as required to meet both crop and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the greenhouse labour team to ensure safety, efficiency and clear communication.
• Ensure accurate and timely labour data entry by all employees, including contractors/temps.
• Correct or adjust any incorrect data entries in real time; monitor end-of-day/next-morning updates.
• Document absences, late arrivals, and appointments daily via the labour tracking platform and communicate with the team.
• Identify data entry errors or trends and report to leadership.
• Support growing and packhouse operations; maintain workflow and monitor process steps.
• Monitor resources, review methods, propose cost-improvement plans and implement as directed.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, GMPs, Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP and PrimusGFS; coach staff as needed.
• Resolve employee concerns with Grower and General Manager.
• Foster collaboration and teamwork; review equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain knowledge via workshops and publications; implement best practices.
• Perform other duties as defined by the company.
