Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Limited in Delta, BC is seeking a Labour Manager to lead the Packhouse and Greenhouse. You will ensure food safety, GMP compliance, and maintain key daily, monthly and annual documentation to support operations and audits.

You will mentor supervisors, develop labor schedules to control costs while meeting pack schedules, and coordinate with corporate commodity planners to maintain sales orders and inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
• Clear, professional communication with employees and management.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• High school diploma or equivalent; two years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep workers motivated by supervision and hands-on guidance.
• Responsible for all aspects of the Green House.
• Ensure crop work meets minimum standards and quality.
• Convey instructions and expectations of standards to employees.
• Monitor pest, disease and equipment issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness, and enforce company policies.
