Zusammenfassung

Pure Flavor is seeking a Greenhouse Labour Supervisor in Ontario to lead the labour team, ensure data accuracy, and uphold safety and GMP standards. The role supports Grower and Assistant Grower in maintaining efficient labour flow and productivity in a high-humidity greenhouse environment.

The successful candidate will have supervisory experience in a greenhouse, bilingual English and Spanish, and strong communication skills to coach staff and manage data entry and reporting.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s in Horticulture, Agriculture or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience; minimum three years in a commercial greenhouse environment.

Aufgaben

• Supervise greenhouse labour team and coordinate activities with Grower to meet productivity goals and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely labour data entry by all employees including contractors and temps.
• Correct and adjust any missing or incorrect labour data entries in real time; document absences and schedule deviations daily.
• Identify data entry errors or missing data trends; communicate equipment and process concerns.
• Support growing and packhouse operations; monitor workflow and recommend cost improvements as directed.
• Enforce GMPs, Health and Safety, Food Safety guidelines; coach workers as needed.
• Resolve employee complaints in collaboration with management; promote teamwork and collaboration.
• Review equipment maintenance schedules and participate in evaluating new equipment and techniques.
