Turning Ideas into Visuals
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the production, design, and development of consume-facing communication to drive success. Led by the Creative Manager, this role will best suit a detail-driven designer with a strong digital toolkit and a passion for bringing bold, consumer-facing visuals to life.
Ready to make an impact? Here’s how:
- Conceptualize, design, and produce print and digital assets (static and animation) for various media.
- Collaborate with the Manager, creative and media agencies and internal channel marketing teams to develop creative concepts and final creative assets to support business requirements.
- Be a brand champion involved in design decisions and direction to maintain creative excellence and brand identity.
- Oversee (art direct) photo and video shoots to reflect layout development and to obtain photography and video of the highest quality while meeting budgets and deadlines.
- Copywriting may be required in collaboration with the Creative Manager, ad agency and other various departments.
- Communicate with print companies and provide print-ready files that meet their specifications and deadlines.
We’re looking for:
- College Diploma in Graphic Design, alongside 5-10 years of hands-on experience in production and design of assets.
- Thorough knowledge of Mac computers and all key software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working in Figma would be an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of various online platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, email, digital display ad development, etc.).
- Working knowledge of web/video design software (Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro) would be an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluency in both English and French would be an asset.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills essential. Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritization skills required.
- Ability to work with deadline-oriented workflow and be available to work extra hours during peak periods.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
