(contract, full-time – 9 months)
CPA Ontario is currently in search of a Graphic Designer who will be responsible for bringing our brand to life through the design and production of compelling visual assets across print, digital, and video channels. This role involves concept development, creative execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure all design outputs are aligned with CPA Ontario’s brand standards and strategic objectives.
The Graphic Designer is an innovative visual storyteller, a skilled multi-disciplinary designer, and a proactive collaborator with a strong portfolio that showcases versatility, creativity, and technical excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Designing and producing visual assets from concept to execution across a variety of formats, including social media, email marketing, website, digital, video, and print, while maintaining brand consistency and high-quality standards.
Collaborating with the Studio Manager to refine and iterate design concepts, aligning them with project goals, timelines, and CPA Ontario’s brand identity.
Providing art direction on select campaigns, preparing and delivering creative presentations to senior leadership and business units.
Evaluating creative performance using key metrics and analytics to optimize visual assets for maximum impact and engagement.
Participating in brand governance by reviewing internal and external creative to ensure consistency, and by developing approved templates to streamline creative output across the organization.
Who You Are:
A Post-secondary graduate in Graphic Design with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an in-house creative department, as a freelancer, or both.
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interpreting marketing briefs and translating them into visually compelling assets.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, with intermediate knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics and video editing is considered an asset.
Experienced in both digital and print design, with a solid understanding of colour theory, typography, composition and prepress.
Highly organized and self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment while maintaining brand consistency and attention to detail. Familiarity with PC environments and tools like Monday.com; RGD certification is considered an asset.
