Job summary

CIRA is recruiting a Grants Specialist to drive the Net Good Grants program across Canada. You’ll manage the end-to-end application process, support applicants with content and webinars, and coordinate with Brand, Finance, Legal and other teams to ensure a smooth grants lifecycle.

You will craft compelling impact stories, develop communications materials, and report to leadership. This role blends project management, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid work environment from

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the non-profit sector or community-based org
• Experience managing grants programs or donations
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with grants management software and online systems
• Ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams and external committees

Responsibilities

• Own the Net Good Grants application process from start to finish.
• Lead communications outreach strategy for the grants program across regions.
• Coordinate activities across Brand, Communications, Finance, Legal and other teams.
• Support applicants with online content, webinars, inquiries.
• Manage online application system, configuration, testing, and improvements.
• Coordinate eligibility reviews and committee decision processes.
• Maintain applicant/recipient documents throughout the lifecycle.
• Create blogs, videos, social content and event collateral.
• Develop project stories to showcase grant outcomes for storytelling.
• Prepare management and board reports.
• Maintain annual program plans and procedures.
• Identify improvements to applicant experience and workflows.
• Travel occasionally to represent Net Good Grants.
