  • Dispatch Longshore Foremen daily and act as a liaison between Longshore labour and Terminal Supervisors
  • Direct loading operations, ensuring equipment, separations, and third‑party materials are available as required
  • Supervise checking and loading to ensure compliance with cargo specifications and shipping instructions
  • Prepare shift reports including cargo loaded, delays, labour usage, weather impacts, and material requirements
  • Manage and apply knowledge of stow factors, cargo characteristics, vessel stability, and grain sensitivities
  • Prepare stow plans and pre‑arrival conditions, ensuring vessels meet all inspection and stability requirements prior to loading
  • Liaise with the Vessel Master and Chief Officer throughout the loading rotation
  • Provide on‑site supervision for each shift and attend vessels prior to completion to oversee final loading sequences
  • Prepare final stow plans and issue final loading reports upon completion
  • Ensure adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) requirements at all times
Minimum Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Superintendent or in a similar operational leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience supervising stevedoring or marine terminal operations
