SGS is seeking an experienced Grain Inspector/Grader to grade wheat, oil seeds and pulses, and to provide technical guidance to inspectors at our Winnipeg lab. You will conduct laboratory analyses, manage data, and issue final grading reports in line with CGC regulations.
With 5+ years as a Grain Grader Level 3 and hands-on experience with moisture, dockage, protein tests, you will train junior staff and liaise with grain elevators to resolve grade issues.

This position is responsible for grading a variety grain types wheat, oil seeds, and pulses. Provide technical guidance and training for inspectors. Communicate directly with grain elevators to provide guidance/updates on grade issues. Conduct laboratory analysis, grading, and review of data in accordance to the CGC guide.
Job Functions: Competent in performing all responsibilities of a Grain Inspector and a Grader Level 2.
