Job summary

The University of Saskatchewan's Human Research Ethics Office (REO) is seeking a Research Ethics Graduate Student Assistant to support the processing of ethics files and daily operations.

Hours are 7-10 hours per week, for the period Oct 1, 2026 – Sept 30, 2027. The role includes data entry, generating certificates and reports, and assisting with special tasks as directed by the Director. Hybrid work may be available.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be a current graduate student in good standing and registered with the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
• Completion of the TCPS: CORE-2022 Course on Research Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Generation of study approval certificates.
• Generation of letters of acknowledgment.
• Generation of study closure documents.
• Generation of various summary reports (REB, USask operational units, etc.).
• Data entry, statistical analysis and results visualization of REO operational key performance indicators.
• Special tasks as assigned by the Director (e.g., REB member acknowledgement letters, document copyediting, literature reviews pertinent to research ethics, etc).
