Worley in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Graduate Mechanical CAD Technologist to join its two-year rotational program. You will develop mechanical drafting, 3D modelling, and plant layouts under guidance of experienced designers.

This role targets graduates with CAD foundation who are curious, detail-oriented, and eager to build a long-term career in mining, minerals and metals and related projects across engineering, project services, and field environments.

Qualifications

• Academic or project experience producing technical drawings and 3D models for mechanical/plant environments.
• Eligibility for registration or progression toward a technologist/technician designation.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models from sketches, criteria and vendor info.
• Prepare layouts, general arrangements, elevations and sections for equipment.
• Assist with plant layout development, interfacing with related disciplines and project teams.
• Apply drawing standards, revisions, layers and document control.
