Job summary

Mott MacDonald Canada is seeking self‑motivated graduates for our Blueprint program in Vancouver, BC. This three‑year development journey combines immersive learning with required sessions to build technical, professional, and commercial skills that you will use to lead future projects.

You will design engineering solutions, perform site inspections, join client meetings, refine designs, analyze reports, and leverage digital tools to drive sustainable outcomes while growing through mentorship

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
  • Preferred: completion of the EIT exam, or ability to take EIT within 12 months.
  • Demonstrated interest via internships, volunteering, or memberships.
  • Creative, methodical, pragmatic problem solving.
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills with clients and colleagues.
  • Resilient, growth‑oriented mindset delivering value.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborative spirit and teamwork.

As a participant in Blueprint, our new graduate program, you will embark on a structured three-year development journey designed in collaboration with an award-winning learning provider. The program combines immersive learning experiences with required development sessions to build the professional, commercial, and personal effectiveness skills graduates need to thrive and lead in our business.

To be considered for this 2027 opportunity, here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
  • Preferred: successful completion of EIT exam, or ability to take EIT exam within 12 months
  • Demonstrated interest in your chosen field through previous internships, volunteering opportunities, or organization memberships
  • Creative thinking skills, with a methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills to engage confidently with clients and colleagues

This position is located in Vancouver, BC. You must be able to reliably commute to our office in this location, per our hybrid working policy.

The expected salary range for this position is from $75,000 - $83,000.
