Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer in Calgary, Canada, to design sites and infrastructure using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bentley tools. The role involves hydraulic analyses with InfoWorks, HydraFlow, PCSWMM and EPANET, plus coordination with multiple teams to deliver sustainable outcomes.

You will contribute to all design phases, research regulatory requirements, and help prepare technical documents, supporting the firm’s goal of guiding climate-friendly, high-performance built environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals
• Experience with CAD software

Responsibilities

We deliver engineering forutility-scale solar plants, BESS, Wind Farma and high voltage substation. Detail power system study for substation, datacenter,BESSand solar plant.

The opportunity

• Use Autodesk (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Bentley (MicroStation, Power InRoads) software to design and detail sites, roads, drainage systems, utilities as well as site grading and earthworks
• Use Hydraulic modeling tools such as InfoWorks, Hydraflow, PCSWMM and EPANET to analyze and design stormwater, sanitary and potable water systems
• Research and apply codes, specifications and standards for design of the above elements
• Coordinate with other teams to apply skills in delivering sustainable outcomes
• Apply understanding of all phases of the planning, design and construction process
• Research requirements of regulatory environment for gaining approval at different stages of project delivery
• Engage with project collaborators and clients to develop designs thatmeetsneeds and concerns
• Support development of technical documentation including reports, presentations, memos, calculation packages, and specification

Calgary Hiring Range – Hiring Range- The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performedin Calgary is $72,250 to $74,250 per year. This range iscommensuratewith experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Calgary will differ.
