Job summary

Golderado is seeking a Gradesman to establish correct grade on construction sites using survey instruments and laser levels. You will coordinate with operators to move earth and ensure the grade matches plans, while identifying hazards and following safe work practices.

Must have high school completion, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and learning various construction methods on road projects.

Key Information:

• Hours: Project dependent.


• Must be willing to work overtime.


• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.


• Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:

Experience and Certification Requirements:

• The ability to properly read grade and use a laser level unassisted is required.


• Must be willing to learn and take direction.


• Must be able to communicate well with co-workers.


• A valid driver's license(class 5) is required.


• A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.


• Must be able to work under pressure in some situations.


• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies


• Work overtime as required.


• Proficient English language skills required.

Education:

Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
